We would like to invite everyone to the Fall Book Fair and Family Literacy Night at CHE on Thurs., November 3 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. We will have the school book fair, books read aloud in different languages, author Emily Arrow, a book walk, graffiti wall, milk and cookies, and so much more. Our theme this year is “Bookaneer Book Fair: Where Books Are the Treasure” so we invite students to dress like a pirate on Nov. 3 (no spears or weapons please).
Books for all ages from preschool through adult will be available to purchase in our school library or through the book fair at school November 2-4 and on the book fair website: http://www.scholastic.com/bf/caldwellheights. Profits from the book fair help fund author visits and new books for the library. Hours for the book fair are:
Tuesday, November 1st – Student Preview
Wednesday, November 2nd – Book Fair Sales 7:20 a.m.-6 p.m.
Thursday, November 3rd – Book Fair Sales 7:20 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Family Literacy Night – 6-7:30 p.m.
Friday, November 4th – Book Fair Sales 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
We’re looking for volunteers to help set up the book fair, assist students with purchases during the book fair, and pack up everything after the book fair. If you can help, please sign up at this link: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B49AFAC23A2FF2-fall1.
